Join the fourth annual Christmas at the Nation Holiday Market, a celebration of Indigenous and local artistry. Hosted at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex & Chief Jim Starlight Centre in partnership with Taza, this market features over 200 artisans offering unique, handmade gifts. Explore the work of these incredible artists while enjoying festive activities and a warm, community atmosphere. This is your chance to shop small and support local.

Grey Eagle Resort & Casino is turning 17, and they’re celebrating in a big way! Join their anniversary celebration on December 17, featuring complimentary cupcakes and a festive photo booth to capture the occasion. Attendees can enter for a chance to win their hourly cash draw for $170 from 11 AM to 9 PM. Catch live entertainment throughout the day, and enjoy a special performance by traditional dancers and drummers at 5 PM. 5. Catch a Hockey Game at the 7 Chiefs Sportsplex
Wrap up the month by cheering on local teams at the Hockey Calgary Circle K Tournament from December 27 to 31 at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex & Chief Jim Starlight Centre.
This tournament is a world invitational U18AAA tournament that has been hosting teams from Canada, USA and Europe since 1978. It’s a fun-filled way to finish off the year, with plenty of action on the ice and community spirit in the stands!
